These areas include above all the foodstuffs industry, high technology and aerospace engineering, as well as some areas of gas, control, or electrical engineering, packaging technology or the laundry industry. Items for technical applications often need to provide certain capabilities and chemical and physical properties, such as temperature resistance, electrical conductivity or insulation, suitability for use with foodstuffs, radiation shielding, an antimicrobial effect, or a fire protection rating. To meet these requirements, we apply not only established market standards but also custom-made compounds developed in our own laboratories, either by drawing on our pool of existing formulas or by developing suitable new compounds in collaboration with customers.
